In the Victorian language of flowers, the Begonia meant "Dark thoughts".
This lovely floral lady was created as part of my Bloom Where You're Planted Oracle Series.
Begonias are sour to the taste, but in some cultures, they are still eaten. In small quantities, a little bitter may be safe, but in larger quantities, they become toxic.
Allowing a little darkness in may allow you to see things as they truly are. Sometimes we must take off our rose tinted glasses and acknowledge the difficulties and obstacles before us but do not lose control of these dark thoughts.
Once we lose control, we can become lost in a spiral of depression and anxiety. Pulling out of the anxiety spiral takes a focused concentration of will that become more and more difficult the longer that we allow it to control us.
Realism is useful. Objectivity is important, but do not allow negativity to take hold for too long. What we think, we can often become.
We can create our own worst nightmares if we feed them enough of our time and our energy. Don't give them that power.
