Frida Khalo struggled with pain most of her life, following her metro accident as a teenager. She overcame adversity and suffering to continue her desire to make the world a better place. 
 
While she may no longer have been able to become the doctor she once dreamed of, she carried through with a strong, positive contribution to the world.
 
She mixed love and thought into a beautiful combination of power and idealism.
